Zinnia 'Giant Violet Queen' boasts magnificent, large, double flowers, up to 5-6 in. across (12-15 cm), packed with rich, purple petals. As the flower matures, a circle of small golden stars surrounds its center disk. Resembling dahlias, they are borne on very long, sturdy stems and make a big statement in the landscape. 

With broad blossoms, bright colors, and next to nothing to worry about ruining your efforts, zinnias are some of the easiest and most rewarding flowers to grow.

Zinnia plants are extremely easy to grow from seed and their blooms will fill your garden beds in no time!

The zinnia has strong and resistant stems, thanks to these it can withstand stronger winds than other plants. 

The flowers usually open at the end of summer and last well into winter. Some cases also bloom during the spring.  Another advantage of zinnia is that it can bloom in pots.

Start your seeds indoors and transplant in Spring, for better landscaping placement, or simply sprinkle into your garden!

Seed Sowing Instructions

2– You can plant the seeds directly in the ground or pots. If in pots make sure they have good drainage.

3- Prepare the soil with good drainage and rich in organic matter.

4- Place the seeds on the soil and apply a thin layer of soil. Zinnia seeds do not need to be buried.

5- Water the soil or pot.

6- If you used a pot, place it in a sunny spot.

After 8 to 12 days the zinnia seeds will germinate. When the seedlings are bigger you can repot them directly into the ground or a larger pot.

Each Zinnia seed packet contains a minimum of 25 seeds and germination notes.
