This species is an elegant, medium-growing small tree. It forms branches which droop at the ends creating a slight weeping effect. The foliage turns a stunning bronze to gold in autumn and is held on the tree until quite late in the season. In summer, seemingly endless chains of bright yellow flowers are produced, followed by papery lantern-like seed pods which hang from the tree in large clusters. Each seed pack contains a minimum of 5x seeds and germination notes.
