Stachys Lantana 'Lambs Ear' - 20x Seeds

With the soft silver foliage that gives them their name Stachys byzantina syn. Stachys lanata or ‘Lambs’ Ears’ make a great ground cover and provide and unusual contrast for landscapers.

The common name of ‘Lambs Ears’ comes from the foliage of the plant which is soft and silky, just like Lambs Ears.

Flowers are not the main feature, the texture of the foliage is what makes Stachys byzantina such a popular plant.

It's velvety soft like a baby rabbit. The furry foliage has a shimmery grey colour that looks gorgeous against brighter showier flowers. It loves poor dry soils and thrives on neglect.
