Hamburg Rooted Parsley (Petroselinum crispum var. tuberosum)

Dating back to the 1600's this hardy heirloom is celebrated for its turnip-like roots that grow to 8-10” long. Sweet with a subtle parsley flavor, Hamburg is delectable in soups and stews or roasted with olive oil and salt. The leaves make a colorful, delicious Parsley garnish and salad ingredient. A dual-purpose herb and vegetable plant.
