Yellow Onion 'Spanish' - 50x Seeds

Hugely popular variety that produces medium to large sized brown/yellow onions.
Large, globe-shaped yellow/brown-skinned onion with a mild flavour. Crisp, firm white flesh that stores very well.

An early maturing variety that grows well in most parts of Australia if planted early in the season. If you allow the thick, heavy neck to dry well it will store for several months in a cool, dry place.


Bulbs are ready to harvest when the tops dry out. 

Sowing method: Sow seeds direct or plant out seedlings

When: Autumn & Winter 
Germination: 6-10 days at temperatures between 20-25 °C
