Native to Europe and Africa, wild mint is a fast-growing perennial herb that grows from 50cm to 1m tall. A traditional medicinal and culinary herb, the highly aromatic leaves have a peppermint or menthol taste and can be used fresh or dried. A prolific producer.

A fast grower in damp soil, the plant will spread easily by rhizomes; best grown in a pot. Also called 'Horse Mint'. 

Leaves can be used fresh or dried as a tea, or as a herb in all types of cooking.
Goes far back in history for use as a medicinal herb and essential oil.
