Turnip 'Golden Globe' - 50 Seeds
Heirloom yellow skinned turnip with golden yellow flesh.
These are pale yellow globe-shaped turnips that have a deep golden yellow flesh. The 7-10cm globes have a flavour similar to swede, and tops are excellent cooked with other mixed greens. Good in salads, stews, soups and for pickling. Roots of this variety store reliably well into the winter months.
Tender with a mild flavour. Can be eaten raw or cooked. . Pick early to avoid roots becoming tough.
