TOMATO Gold Nugget - 20+ HEIRLOOM Seeds

Gold Nugget cherry tomato seeds produce compact determinate plants of approximately 61cm tall.

Gold Nugget's compact size makes it an ideal choice for containers and small garden spaces.

This variety sets easily in cool weather and are usually the first of any tomato variety to ripen. It is a Winner of the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Award of Garden Merit. 

Enjoy prolific early yields of lovely golden yellow globes the size of cherry tomatoes to ping pong balls. 

Gold Nugget cherry tomatoes are usually seedless until the end of the season. Fruits have a sweet, flavorful and balanced taste. 

This variety was developed specifically for cool climates by Dr. James Baggett of Oregon State University in the early 1980's. The plants are dependable producers. 

Provided fruits are harvested regularly, the plants will outperform most other cherry varieties. 

This is a DETERMINATE & BUSH variety - no staking required.

How to  Grow Your Tomato Seeds Sow your tomato seeds in early Spring to Summer – all year round in subtropical and tropical areas.
Sow 5mm (1/4”) deep in pots or trays of seed raising mix.
Transplant to final growing position when sturdy enough to handle.
Spacing plants 50cm (20”) apart each way.
Water daily, and when the first truss has set, feed regularly.
Pinch out side shoots as they appear.
Can also be sown direct in final position after danger of frost has passed.
Most tomato seed varieties require a warm sunny position and staking to ensure a bountiful crop.
Seedlings emerge 10-14 days.
Plant in rows 90 cm apart with 45 - 60 cm between plants.
