Carrot 'Chantenay Red Core' - 100+ seeds

Chantenay carrots are short, stout carrots with light orange flesh and orange-red colored cores. They mature in 65 to 75 days 10-13 cm long and 2 to 5-6 cm.

Introduced in 1929, this heirloom variety is commercially grown for canned and processed carrots because of their high yields and excellent storage. The carrots can be eaten fresh, frozen, or canned. Their taste is sweet and crisp.

Has good disease resistance. 

They store extremely well & are very easy to grow.
